Fattoria Tregole is an active vineyard located in the heart of Chianti, 4 km from the village Castellina, in a beautiful, quiet position. The German and English-speaking owners of the Fattoria, a working vineyard, have renovated two apartments for farm house vacation stays. Wooden beams, terracotta floors and open fireplaces in the apartments provide our visitors with an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The very best of Chianti Classico scenery lies before you from the pool and garden.

The pool (7x14m) is of a clever Italian design. Water cascades over the edge from two sides and is caught underneath and filtered back in again. The impression whilst swimming is of the water finishing in mid-air, a unique and heavenly experience.

Accessibility to Florence and Siena adds appeal to Tregole’s rural position in the unspoiled country between these two cities. The village of Castellina in Chianti is 4 km away, where visitors can shop and dine and there are also many other towns and villages offering similar services.

The Fattoria also produces a good vine from its own surrounding vineyards and also a genuine olive oil.

Very spacious sitting room with an open fireplace. The kitchen has a cooker, oven and fridge/freezer. One double-bedded room with en suite shower / WC etc. One twin-bedded room and a bathroom with WC etc. On a mezzanine floor there is a single bed.

Aia sleeps 4, (95 sq m)
A pretty sitting/dining room with a fireplace, with the kitchen on a mezzanine floor. The kitchen has stove, oven and fridge. One double-bedded room with doors to a private terrace. One twin-bedded room. A bathroom and a shower room each with WCs etc.

The house, following restoration preserving the typical style of the "Casa di campagna Toscana" , consists of five bedrooms, four on the second floor and a small, partially independent suite on the ground floor.

The living room with its characteristic stone fireplace recalls evenings in a small farmhouse, breakfast is served in the adjacent room on the ground floor in a light and comfortable atmosphere and on the terrace under the pergola.

Twice a week, the mistress of the house prepares a typical Tuscan menu accompanied by the wines and products of the farm.

In addition, the large garden with its shady corners and a panoramic pool, splendidly sunny throughout the season, are available to the guests.

How to get to Fattoria Tregole

From Siena or Florence, Fattoria Tregole can be reached either via the superstrada (No 2) or via the Chiantigiana highway 222. By superstrada from Florence, exit at San Donato and take the road towards Castellina in Chianti. From Siena, exit at Monteriggioni and again drive towards Castellina. When you reach highway 222, turn right onto 222 and look for the turnoff to Tregole 4 km on the left.
